Nestled in the postcard ski village of Truckee the fine folks at Fifty/Fifty, Andy and
Alicia Barr operate the perfect spot to grab a post or pre ski beer crafted by Todd
Ashman. On our first visit we found a cozy community sharing beers and stories and it
reminded us of our own cozy community at home in San Francisco.
Todd Ashman built his reputation for brewing rich, bold, and flavorful barrel aged beers
while working as a brewer in Chicago. He continues this tradition today in the high
altitude of Truckee, where beer aficionados and lucky outdoor enthusiasts gain a passport
to taste his creations.
