Picture our first encounter with the Bruery in May 2008; the scene was set for sampling
late night in the brewers’ campground at The Boonville Beer Festival. Craig’s late
night stumbling through the brewers’ campsite resulted in an opportunity to sample two
fine beers: Saison Rue and Orchard White, where he was awed by the fresh flavors he
encountered in the beers. A kinship was formed, and within a few months with a cooler
in place, a pilgrimage was made to Orange County to bring their enchanting beers to our
shelves.
The Bruery was just setting up shop in Orange County, but had quickly found a strong
fan base, and today offers one of the loveliest portfolios of beer. We are delighted to
have the opportunity to blend a beer to include in our anniversary project.
