Subscriptions are monthly, meaning you’ll receive an installment every month.

To get a City Beer subscription, just fill out this form

You'll be able to choose, which style you want, how long you want to have your subscription and how you want to receive it.

Each installment will feature a mix of cans and/or bottles ranging from 12oz cans, 16oz cans, and 500ml bottles.

We want to make sure you get the most delicious and exciting variety of beers to taste each month. The mix of can and bottle sizes may vary to ensure we’re sending you the best possible package based on what brewers are producing at any given time.

The subscription selections are hand picked by our enthusiastic beer savvy staff and are unable to be exchanged for other selections.

Each subscription installment will be ready around the 15th of each month. We will send email updates every month with the exact date. If you submit your sign-up form by the 1st of the month you will receive your first installment that same month. If you sign-up after the 1st, you’ll receive your first installment NEXT month.

You must be at least 21 years old to sign up. You will be asked to show a valid photo ID to receive your package each month.

If you’ve selected a month-to-month subscription, you will be automatically billed every month for the subscription plus any applicable shipping or delivery charges.

If you need to cancel your subscription, you must do so on or before the 1st of the month. Subscriptions cancelled after the 1st will still be charged and fulfilled for that month.

If the charge is declined, we’ll notify you and pause your subscription until you provide a new form of payment.

If you’ve selected a set duration subscription (3 months or 6 months) payment for the full subscription duration, including any shipping or delivery charges, will be processed upon receipt of your sig-up form.

Set duration subscriptions are not eligible for refunds.

You can cancel or pause a month-to-month subscription by emailing on or before the 1st of the month.

If you purchased a set duration subscription (3 months or 6 months) we are not able to cancel or refund the subscription.

Also, if you are having the subscription delivered or shipped to your recipient, be sure they know that someone +21 years must be home to sign for the package.

City Beer offers 3 ways to receive your subscription each month: pick up at our San Francisco shop, shipping in California and local delivery in San Francisco.


Subscription packs will be available for pick-up during our regular pick-up windows at our San Francisco shop located at 1148 Mission Street. If you’re picking up, we can hold your subscription for 30 days after the email notification is sent. If you do not pick up within the 30 day window, the beers will be sold and the funds donated to a nonprofit of our choice. Refunds are not available for unclaimed subscriptions.


Subscriptions are shipped or via GLS or UPS and shipping times can vary, although most shipments will be received next-day. All orders are shipped during regular business days (Monday - Friday, excluding holidays). Shipping charges may vary and are subject to change without notice. Age verification and the signature of an adult 21+ years of age is required at the time of delivery. If you are not available to receive your shipment with required ID, you may incur additional shipping charges to redelivery. Due to licensing restrictions, we currently only ship within California.


City Beer offers local delivery via DoorDash in San Francisco. Local delivery charges are $11.99 per month (please note, prices are subject to change without notice). Someone 21+ years old with valid photo ID must be available to receive deliveries. If you are not available to receive your delivery with required ID, you may incur additional charges to redeliver.
