Luscious in texture and hazy in appearance from the use of rolled oats and flaked wheat during the Mash. Hops are used in a variety of unorthodox practices in order accentuate flavor and aroma rather than bitterness. Methods used to impart hop character include mash hop, first wort hop, late kettle and whirlpool hop. Additionally, two dry-hopping periods include up to 3 pounds per barrel of the featured hop in each release which also contributes hop haze. Hop flavors will vary significantly from stone fruit, citrus, and melon to various tropical notes as different hops are featured. The soft texture and enticing hop flavors come together harmoniously in the form of a “Luscious IPA”.
